Our Community Involvement
Our attorneys and staff are very involved with charitable and pro bono activities and have founded and served on the boards of a number of charitable and community organizations, including the following:
California Employment Lawyers Association ("CELA"): A state-wide organization of more than 750 attorneys who represent employees in employment matters. Mr. Pearl serves as co-chair of CELA's Wage and Hour Committee, acting as a mentor for other lawyers and organizing and speaking at CELA's annual Advanced Wage and Hour Conferences. Mr. Sansanowicz is active on CELA's Brief Bank Committee, developing model pleadings and court filings for other attorneys.
The Executives: Mr. Pearl has served on the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of The Executives, a support group for the Los Angeles Jewish Home for the Aging in Reseda, California.
The Young Executives: Mr. Pearl was one of the co-founders of this organization, dedicated to bringing the next generation of membership and leadership to The Executives for the benefit of The Jewish Home for the Aging in Reseda, California.
The Jewish Federation of Los Angeles: Mr. Pearl has served in leadership positions in L.A. Couples, an introduction to the charitable work of the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles.
Constitutional Rights Foundation ("CRF"): Mr. Pearl has served as a judge in CRF's mock trial competition for high school students.
